Angel S. Angelov, MD, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer at Vistagen, a biotechnology company with a pherine-based pipeline focused on nose-to-brain neurocircuitry activation. Prior to joining Vistagen, Dr. Angelov served as CMO at Theranica and has had leadership roles within large, mid-size and small pharma in clinical development and medical affairs over the last 20+ years. He earned his M.D. from Sofia Medical University and completed his residency and fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University where he also held a faculty position at the start of his academic career. Dr. Angelov received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
